De Ladrones takes you on a journey through a rich tapestry of musical genres like shoegaze, dreampop, indie and classic rock.  The sound prioritizes dynamic guitars, big drums, ambient synths, pulsating basslines, and fearless vocals.

We call this Hybrid Rock.

This five-member band draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, including icons like Slowdive, The War on Drugs, David Bowie, and The Smiths, as well as international sensations like Celest from Mexico and Enrique Bunbury from Spain. With each member bringing their unique musical tastes to the table, De Ladrones has crafted a sound that is both fresh and distinctive.  The band's captivating journey began in 2017 with the talented duo of Sam Matthews and Paul Morgana. In late 2019, the lineup expanded to include Roman Mundo, Ra Leon, and Manny Gonzalez, adding new layers of creativity and energy to their music. 
Despite the challenges of the pandemic that swept the world in the spring of 2020, De Ladrones refused to let their passion for music be stifled. They remained connected through virtual chatrooms, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to their craft. These virtual sessions fueled their creativity, paving the way for what was to come.
Finally, in late 2021, De Ladrones emerged from the shadows and released their debut single, "Under the Starry Skies," which is now available on all major streaming platforms. In 2022, the band achieved significant milestones, including their first live performance as they opened for Mauricio Clavería's LA LEY tribute band, Invisible. They also delighted fans with the release of two more singles, "Cast Aside" and “Nowhere Near.”  As we step into 2023, brace yourself for the highly anticipated EP, "Mirrors in Front." The journey begins with the release of their mesmerizing single, "M.F.S.," scheduled for September 22, 2023.
